About Me

Welcome to Stringandthread! For those who don't know me, my name is Shannon. I've been wanting to start a craft blog for a while along with sharing some of my personal life experiences and inspirations. I am a huge supporter of local businesses along with the DIY community. Threadbanger has been a huge inspiration for me and has helped me think outside of the box along with teaching me how to recycle the materials used in most of my projects. Other inspirations that my crafts come from are my personal hobbies and random things that I have seen on the web or in stores that I wanted to learn how to make. I also enjoy being out in nature and I try to find ways to incorporate it into my work. Since most of my projects do not follow any guidelines or patterns, I like to feel that I created the idea and if I notice any imperfections in my work it just shows that its one of a kind item that cannot be mass produced in a store.
